Hurricane 'WEEKLY' Newsletter for January 30th - February 3rd, 2022

Happy Friday you A-W-E-S-O-M-E Hurricanes!

Hope our young people enjoyed their day off school!  Educators were working hard today, on completing Term 1 Report Cards (Grades 1 - 8) and Communication of Learning (Kindergarten).  These will be sent home "with love" on February 14th!

Please find attached, our Hurricane WEEKLY Newsletter for January 30th - February 3rd, 2023.  Lots of news, updates and information to peruse.  Also find attached to the newsletter, two important supporting documents to peruse;
  • Holy Trinity Chocolate Fundraiser INFORMATION HANDOUT
  • Being Late for School REALLY ADDS UP!
We are soon entering another of our holiest of seasons with Easter.  And prior to that, we know that we begin our spiritual spring cleaning with Lent.  To kick Lent off, we will celebrate with Pancakes on Tuesday, February 21st.  We are seeking parent volunteers to help with flipping and cooking!  We are also in need of electric or stovetop griddles to make pancakes for over 500+ of our hungry students!  If you are interested in volunteering your time to cook or can lend a griddle, please email [email protected]  Thank you Hurricanes!

With the heart of the winter season upon us, we have started to experience some interesting and inclement weather.  Just a reminder that information on bus cancellations or school closures can be found in several areas.  First, you can always find the LINK for inclement weather cancellations and closures on the attached newsletter or on our own school website.  Also, visit our Twitter and Facebook pages, the school board website or listen to Magic 106.1.

Finally, remember our Umbrella-Trait-of-the-Month, "Realistic Optimism!"  Always keep it REAL and positive Hurricanes!  The best schools have good REALationships and believe they can always work through any challenge T-O-G-E-T-H-E-R!

Have a great weekend everyone!
